Noise emissions are relative anyway. Depends on how acute your hearing is and your tolerance for noise in general.
When I see these open-frame jobs I just want to ask "how do you stand that all day long?" Does a fatter wallet make it less loud?
I have a red and a yellow champion 2000 watt inverter generator. Had it about 5 years now. Folks tell me the red one is much quieter.
