Northern Maine didn't have corn likker till way after the other states due to transportation issues. When they did get the useless product, they had numerous snowmobiles die in the woods from the sludge in the old tanks. The corn lobby doesn't care if people freeze or drown as long as they can continue to sell product that only benefits them.
