The SMACKDOWN comes as lobby'ers try their damndest to increase alcohol content so the USA can export more fracked oil and finished product.
Alcohol mandates EXPENSIVE synthetic materials to resist its effects. Everything from hoses, to gaskets TO FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR ELECTRIC FUEL PUMPS get a vastly reduced lifespan. ASK THE BRAZILIANS ABOUT THIS it is a national scandal. OR better yet start searching for ALCOHOL RESISTANT HOSE. Expensive isn't it.
Oh wait! We haven't even TOUCHED the price of beef or corn on the cob.

Never load a Generac generator more than 50% for longer than ten minutes at a stretch. Reduce that if its a hundred degree day.
Change oil strictly to manufacturer's specs, even though the unit may have 20 hours of service when it comes the TIME LIMIT to change oil, do it.
Install an EXCELLENT inline fuel filter. A fuel filter for a USA fuel injected automobile will go a long way in preventing problems. so will using a fuel stabilizer off season.
