I have to wonder why someone would buy 7 of them unless they owned a contracting business and used them for power in their service trucks...
I have the little Champ, a single 2000, I have limited power needs in my TC and it supplies what I need for power just fine. Hard to believe the HF unit is as quiet. My little Champ is extremely quiet, but then any totally enclosed genny is quieter than an open frame unit just because the enclosed unit breaks the noise pattern, much like a muffler breaks the noise up.
Glad you like it. If I needed more power, which I don't at this point, I'd have one as well.
I like the 'box like' shape of the Champ / Honda / HF units as well. I don't care for the 'swoopy' design of the Yamaha Inverters. The square shape is much easier to stow away and conforms better to storage than a swoopy design.
