That Samlex was a total bust.
I got so tired of the hum, both physical and induced into my speakers, that I moved the unit outside the cabinet. Solved that, but, the fan never stops, it's pretty loud. So I pulled a fan wire. Unit shut down in 10 minutes from heat.
My Xantrex 2kw is dead silent, and the fans never come on. This Samlex unit is just too small and light to handle heat. I guess weight has something to do with heat sinks.
