Using my house inverter might be easier than I thought.
Here's a shot of some J boxes and plugs for the slide electrical...microwave, fridge, and kitchen. It's very easily accessed.

As labeled, and tested, the pulled yellow plug supplies the refer and the entertainment power. I can put a 15a socket on a wire, run the other end to available house inverter power, and plug 'er in. Of course, now the refer is running on inverter, which, with 8 batteries and lots 'o solar, is ok. But, I just simply switch to gas when needed.
For longer stays, where I have shore, just unplug from my inverter feed and plug it back in to house shore. But then I'll still have the inconvenience of a rebooting DVR should I lose power. I'm not hooked up to shore very often. The purpose of this project is to not lose the DVR when coming off generator.
Yeah, that just might work. Glad I didn't give up and buy another inverter!
