Get a tarp 9' by whatever.

Drape it on top of the area that you hear the noises.

Next day do you still hear the noises?

Sorry buddy, the sounds are probably all in your head.

Well, I'm sure as hell not "left"

Forty years ago I tamed a Jeffrey Pine squirrel. One day his squeaks for imported walnuts went unheeded. So he crawled up the back of the sofa I was sitting on then jumped into the middle of the newspaper I was reading. Scared the bejesus out of me.

I am a sucker for animals. Treat them like idiots and they will assume the role.

I had friends with an elderly blue heeler. Arthritis and cranky. "He'll bite your hand off!" I was warned.

Gently, ever so gently I massaged his aching joints. He groaned with pleasure. When the lady of the house returned one day and found him curled up in my lap licking my fingers for a message

She was thunderstruck. "I never would have believed this in a thousand years"

And the finches. i crushed dog food under my heel. When the dogs were finished a half dozen finches moved in. They ate their fill.

When I was late they would fly in an open doorway and give me hell. Following me around chittering and scolding me. I would go out and crush their dinner.

Trying to find the little bugger now. Have the interior cover off my AC unit. Didnt notice before the power wires are ran through 3/4inch holes that expose the roof cavity. That means the ac has been sucking fiberglass insulation and tossing it abouts. Gee thanks forest river...you guys keep astonishing me.

I might cut a hole in the panel with the holes. Will take a pic. I'm all ears if someone has advice on how to catch a mouse or lizzy without swiss cheesing my wall.

Nothing like our 2 dachshunds "going off" ... you know, barking all of sudden, wildly, when you are in a deep-deep sleep at 2:30 am! Here's a short story that will do nothing to resolve the OP's issue but may put a smile on your face.

Many years ago in the hotel, it was too hot to sleep in the rig.

So I stretched out on a bed in sn apartment wide open to the ocean's afternoon breezes.

I had my hands above my head beneath a pillow...and was starting to dozzzzzze...

PINCH!

What the hell?

I moved my hands

And out ran a gray rat! Not a mouse. But a foot long nose to tail rat!

I looked at my index finger and found four points in a box shape that could only have come from a pinch. I squeezed hard on the marks but they did not redden or have a trace of blood. Not even close. Thank god, no rabies.

I looked up. There sat the rat ten or twelve feet distant. It ran ten or so feet then turned around. "squeak squeak" It ran another few feet then did the same thing.

There it sat looking at me, whiskers bobbing.

By god, it wanted me to chase it.

So I chased it.

"Squeaky squeaky, squeak squeak squeak squeaky..." it ran just fast enough just to stay out of reach.

I could go no further than the edge of the patio

We played "Chase me! Chase Me" for several days. The rat squealed with obvious joy.

Then he disappeared. I have no idea why.

I set rat capture traps. On the way out of town 10 miles, I would release them.

Then one night I caught a monster.

As I approached the trap it hissed at me and flung itself again and again at the wires. Teeth bared.

Jesus came the next morning and he carried the cage to the gravel area in front of the hotel. Yaqui and negro out two dogs got set. The cage door was opened. The rat charged negro and bit him on the side of the muzzle. Negro started yelping. Yaqui who was much quicker charged the nasty rodent

And that was that.

These rats ate tomatoes. Their overwhelming preference. They remain unclassified although they were definitely not Norway rats.

When I think of the first encounter it brings a smile.

It's not dripping water. Heard it all night there is something trapped in the front wall.

Sounds like it can go up and down the wall between the same studs. Then also can run sideways on the roof for a few feet.

I think its trapped. My walls have rigid foam. I did have the tongue jack on the ground. Wonder if he came up that.

Trailer has that black fabric underneath. I cant find any holes.

On the roof above the bedroom is an ac unit. I wonder if that's the access point.

My trailer is gel coat but dirty and parked on the dirt. Can a lizard even climb up dirty gel coat sides?

I'm heading back home to find it now. Dont want it to die in the wall. Especially if a little mouse.

There is a horizontal cabinet on the front bedroom wall. Should I cut a hole where I hear the sound?
