May be low gas pressure from the regulator. My stove was (seemed) fine, but I had poor cooling with the reefer on LP. Got the regulator checked & adjusted (LP appliance sales & service dealer). The reefer cooled better, and the furnace put out hotter air. You're looking for 11 inches of water column with several appliances running.

Bingo on this answer. Just 'cause your stove lights up doesn't mean that your furnace is getting sufficient gas flow to generate enough heat. Your regulator may not be generating enough gas pressure or your lines may be plugging up with the oils that are contained within the propane. You may have to flush the entire length of the propane lines from, say the fridge gas line inlet port back out through the main feed line leaving the regulator. Methyl hydrate and compressed air. Be VERY careful and allow ample time for the spooge to evap from the lines.
Is there any difference when switching from one propane bottle to the other?
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
