Heater/Air Conditioner

Question

I have a Dometic Duo Therm in my 5er and it seems as if the heater doesn't come on as frequently as it used too.  I haven't checked the actual temp in my rig, but I have been moving the thermostat up to kick it in more often.  Do those need replacement?

Yes, the thermostats can wear out.  We have replaced one of ours.  Ours was no longer accurate as far as the interior temperature for turning on/off to run.  We noticed that discrepancy with heat before we did the A/C.  We purchased a replacement that was compatible/comparable from a Menards -Lowe's-Home Depot store.

Could it be that the sensor is caked with dust/dirt?
