Try as I might in the last twenty two years I cannot make my compressor refrigerator "board" fail. Tried to make them catch fire, or the cooling unit leak, or do anything but work and came up short.
Like shoes, batteries, appliances, and tools, the stuff that costs the least turns out costing the most.
Do it once - do it right.
I'll harp on the following point.
YOU DO NOT CALCULATE ONLY THE COST OF THE FAILED UNIT TO BE REPLACED! POUND IT INTO YOUR SKULL. How much did the failure REALLY cost you? Ruined vacation? The new replacement? Phone calls? Hassles? Shipping cost? Your gasoline? And most of all your time. Totaled up THAT is the cost of failure.
