Tarp. Tie it down really well.
I bought my Allegro in January here in the Northeast. It had been leaking for years and had no engine. I kept it covered with blue tarps that I got at Home Depot for the remainder of the winter while I replaced the engine. They worked fine through many snowfalls and melts. When Spring rolled around I took the tarps off and sealed the roof. That was 5 seasons ago - it's been fine the whole time.
