HELP - I'm running out of time, and everything is WET

A friend uses PVC conduit to build a frame over his boat. Over the PVC he spreads a tarp. The PVC keeps the tarp away from the boat. In the spring he takes it apart for easy storage. It is also flexible enough to bend in a roughly rounded shape for water/ snow runoff.
