Insulation is THE key. The make-or-break decider. If I could clad the compressor fridge with an inch of rigid foam and spray foam the areas I could not clad it would lower energy consumption at least forty percent (note the door has to be clad as well as the bottom, ESPECIALLY the bottom.)
