The first step in defining what you need for a solar installation is doing an energy audit of all the devices you wish to power.

This website has a link to a spreadsheet calculator for solar sizing and battery bank installation.

Second step would be budget.

Forum member "Jim in Denver" has successfully operated a small 5K BTU window air conditioner for a short period of time using solar and batteries. Your 15K BTU RV A/C is going to be out of reach for most solar installations.
