Not a lot of difference between the MS MPPT 45 and 60 CCs. As I recall the 60 has a LAN interface but it's an older protocol.
They both limit the current output if you over panel. So with 750W flat mounted and the MPPT 45 occasionally the output would be limited to 45A. I've seen 45-50A for short duration's at noonish.
If I wanted a fourth panel for 1000W it would reach 60A and be limited. But I would have to connect the panels in series/parallel which isn't what I would want. So then I'd be looking at a CC with a 200V input limit for series panels.
Another option is to keep what I have, add another panel with it's own controller and I'm in hog heaven. Maybe get a CC that can handle 2+ panels. And now my batteries are to small.
