Help Needed To Install A PD-4000 Power Center!

I purchased a Progressive Dynamics PD-4000 power center and want to replace the Magnetek 6300 that has gone bad in my rv. Has anyone had any experience with these. There directions are not very clear.
Thanks!

  • I did mark all the wires from the old unit and all the ac and dc power is dead!

Never mind. I only replaced the converter part of my Magnatek, not the AC side.

I bought the Progressive Dynamics PD4655V. The AC side/breaker box part of my Magnatek was still good.
  • On the DC side there are 2 red wires on the 1 and 2 fuse block where do I connect the red wires

Changing out these two units shouldn't be too bad if you have some electrical back ground.
    It should be fairly simple.
Disconnect battery and shorepower. Make sure the circuits are truely dead!
You will need to identify all the circuits and wiring. Mark them good with tape and marker. Take photos as you go.
Locate the 12 Volt DC wiring. Identify them. Take photos.
    Manual looks pretty clear.
