If so, go to the roof unit and disconnect the white thermostat wire marked "W"- this should shut the furnace down. If that doesn't work, disconnecting one of the blue/white stripe wires will.
Yes, my thermostat looks exactly like this one. Thanks for all the info guys. I appreciate the info on how to shut down the heater, but I can shut it down just by removing the fuse from the panel. What I really want to do is to figure out how to troubleshoot this.
