A good description of the pandant was given earlier in this thread.
It many times comes w/ the converter, but otherwise cost $12. It is not something that you throw in your tool box as smketters suggested !!! It is simply a button w/ a green light on it that simply plugs into the converter.
The button has adheasive on the back so you can stick it on the wall in plain sight. You would never mount it outside, much less even a compartment !! The green lite tells you what charging stage it is in, and also give you manual control over the charging stages which at time will give you faster charging.
Contrary to popular (and smketters) belief, the PDs do not always start off in bulk mode, and when they don't you do NEED the pendant.

Lastly, I did see the pendant but I dont really understand what it does aside from that it shows what mode the converter is in. Is it something you mount in the trailer or leave by the batteries?
Otherwise not sure it is weather proof so best mounted inside or in a dry compartment.
The 9260 will be outstanding compared to WFCO.
