Yes, they were. And that said, the two batteries have been in the trailer since I bought it 4 years ago. I couldn't tell you whether or not they're the original batteries since they never remove the date tags anymore, but I'd say probably no since that would make them 10 years old. So they're at least 4-5 years old.
