Now why couldn't that less than helpful PD employee on the phone address the validity of my concerns simply based on the apparent scams their products have been involved in? :h That link makes me think that she would have more than enough reason to bend over backwards in order to make sure I had a legit product.

Call me old fashion but I believe a product quality should also be measured in the level of customer service it comes with.
