My PD 9245, purchased just a month or so ago (and which I had to wait a few days extra for as it was backordered) came in a fancy color printed box. It does have a sticker on it that describes it as a "45 AMP POWER CONVERTER WITH BUILT-IN CHARGE WIZARD, RETAIL PACKAGED" which suggests that there may also be OEM packaging, which presumably would not be a fancy color printed box.
