I had one of those inverters. I suggest checking the output voltage very carefully. Mine was up to 176 volts at times and shortly after I purchased it would only do about 400 to 500 watts (it was supposedly 5000 continuous). All in all it did a far worse job than my Cobra 2500 MSW unit.
I'd recommend getting the Xantrex prowatt inverter that bestconverters is selling, in the size that is appropriate for your needs (for me that would be the largest one)

Thanks for the heads up. I read quite a few horror stories about the 5kW unit. My kill a watt has shown thus one to be pretty solid at around 117V.
