Why so low? Seems like an appropriately high bulk/absorption voltage is all the rage amongst the solar gurus here.
I was still getting an inverter shut down at 14.7V, so I've dropped it down to 14.65V. I was also wrong about which stock algorithm I had been using, it was the 14.6V one.
I am not sold on the higher voltages unless you have a specific issue to resolve. I am more inclined to leave it lower as long as you are still getting to float by end of day. The periodic equalization can resolve any long term issues. Mine is set at 14.3 and seems to keep the batteries up just fine.
I did not realize the PWM controller had different settings from the MPPT. My MS MPPT also has a programmable cap on voltage.
