Help with custom Morningstar Tristar PWM setup

Hello. Can I get some help setting up my Morningstar Tristar 45 PWM controller with custom setpoints? I have been using it at the stock 14.6V absorption voltage profile with temperature compensation...

My laptop has a green light indicating it is being charged that eventually goes out. Watching the Trimetric, you can see the amps drawn drop over time as the laptop charges up.

My normal drill is to turn on the inverter so when running the laptop it does not draw down its battery. When I shut down the laptop, net amps on Trimetric improves.

So I don't follow why your inverter draw will spike when you turn off the laptop.
