Something isn't right.
BFL help us out. What's the concern? I picture it going something like this.
Solar is well into the day's charging.
Inverter is running a few loads, including a laptop with an almost dead battery, drawing a couple of amps (I know mine has a 220 watt supply for example).
Battery is 14.2 v
Now 14.3 v
Now 14.4, 14.5, 14.6,
Laptop is still pretty discharged but unplug it because I need to use it somewhere else and will plug back in there.
Voltage instantly jumps to 14.9 v when the load of the laptop is removed from the inverter, and the inverter draws less from the batteries charging under solar.
Inverter shuts off.
Solar controller clamps voltage back down to 14.6.
Restart inverter and it works now.
