12v switch like pull the fuse to mimic video 3 where power is cut at the 12v. I am probably off base but I have this feeling there is some reactance between the inverter shutting down and the controller. Although this was probably proved wrong by testing with the other inverter.
I have never seen any spike with my MS MPPT as loads are removed. Maybe I have not looked close enough either. Just seems like a big swing.
If it would help to be in float go ahead and shorten the time to 5 minutes and increase the PW%. Since you have plenty of power for camping I would tend to continue tuning it back.
How long has the solar been operating? It has gone through equalize a few times?
