For storage 14.2 or anything above 13.8v will keep the batteries up just fine, especially if it is running an equalize cycle every so often.
When camping you could miss out on faster charging, but only if you actually would have hit 14.4v or 14.6, 14.8. The lower set point does nothing to slow charging if in your actual usage you would never hit it (of course).
You could have one set of settings for camping and one for storage, and you would keep fully charged batteries while in storage and never hit this issue using the inverter in the storage lot, unless you happened to use the RV while it was trying to run an equalize cycle.
