Understand about laptop. However, it does stay on at same picture brightness when unplugged and plugged back in right away, so the voltage change is between inverter and battery. Anyway, using the "dining room" fancy light (120v) as the inverter load, but with laptop still plugged in, I got
DC panel meter- 12.96, goes to 12.89, back up. Change in net amps on Trimetric was 8.0a
Clouds slow to burn off but getting better. If forecast wrong we will have to try another day. Tri now 13.0v, 4.5a, -52.6 AH.
This controller starts playing with the amps long before batts reach 14.6, while in the high 13s, so voltage change can be observed but amps are all over the place once that starts. Still, it is voltage we are interested in. Also voltage climbs fast once into the 14s, so might not get a full set for each 0.1v. Get back later when know some more!
