Sun is burning through a bit more so we have hopes!
Took another at 13.3v on Tri. Hard to get amps diff when jumping around as clouds get thinner. Took lots to get it sort of right. Anyway, this time using 120v lamp,
DC panel meter 13.26 to 13.19 and amps diff 7.9a so R gone up to 0.00886 from 0.00875 as batt volts went from about 13 to 13.3
I guess this is working or else it is a fluke! :)
12 noon, Tri says 13.4v, 19.4a, -44.3 AH so looks like we'll make it today. (max solar would be 21a--seldom seen when batts get up in SOC earlier and amps acceptance goes down)
OOPs???--Salvo's steady voltage lamp is on the inverter, ( I am off-grid of course) so we might have some reduction in drawn amps as batt voltage rises, which would mimic increased R ?
13.9 and amps up and down like crazy, so no more Rs till amps settle way down after Absorption Stage sets in later on.
Meanwhile can do a laptop yank to go with that set of figures:
Drat voltage is variable too as amps go up and down. Got a set at 13.94, yank 14.01 diff = 0.07v
Another at 13.6--controller starts playing with amps at 13.9ish so be hard to get any amps diff once that starts. Bad enough with the clouds now.
Took several, all showed higher R, example 13.67-13.59 and 18.5-10.6, so 0.08/7.9 =0.0101 another was 13.70-13.61 and 20.2-11.1 so
0.09/9.1 = 0.00989
Another at 13.8 Tri. -25.0AH
13.75-13.65 and 12.5-5.2 (typical samples) so 0.1/7.3 = 0.0137
So the figures may not be exact but the trend is there with rising R as batt voltage rises
AH now -25 so things should get going soon (458AH bank--not sure where "full" is wrt that -25 on Tri though--might need a reset, who knows?) I'll take an SG after as a cross-check.
As it is, my voltage is lower than SOC per Salvo's graphs I think ??
