Be a bit awkward to get at the various places and to see the readings all at once for that. Need a team!
Salvo, is there anything odd about how I went so far up in SOC before all the fun began? Those graphs for different charging rates don't seem to apply with my solar charging rates being all over the place during the day as sun amount varies etc.
So did we solve the OP's problem?
-Yes he is getting that spike and at 0.2v (with four 6s) he could well be seeing a spike that would make his inverter see 15v.
- But from 14.4 start? His spike would be 0.4v with only two 6s? (twice the batt R as with four)
-how good is his controller temp comp? (mine seems off a bit)
-should be able to prove what voltage the inverter really pops at by getting the voltage up using a regular high voltage charger on shore power instead of doing the spike trick, just to clear that up about the inverter
-If leaving the set point really low as the solution, confirm batts getting charged ok anyway at the end of the day by checking SG once controller drops to Float. If SG ok, no problem.
