Help With Electrical/Power Issue

The Toy Hauler is a 2009 Jayco Octane ZX 26Y. I plugged it into the outlet in my RV Garage and immediately heard a loud humming noise as if something electrical was running such as the fuel pump or electric bed motor. This also caused the GFI Fuse at the main house fuse panel to trip and a power loss to the RV. I've had issues with my Fuel Station working intermittently, so, I removed the 30 AMP Fuse for that and the humming stopped. Not being at all good with electrical stuff, I went through and checked to see if there were any breakers tripped or bad fuses in the RV. All was good except I did remove the Fuel Station Fuse.
3 days later when I plugged the RV in, the noise returned and the house fuses again tripped. I also thought I'd try running the generator just to see if it would provide power. It started fine, ran for 2 minutes, then died. I used the RV a month ago and plugged it into the outlet in the Garage prior to the trip and had no issues. The only thing that has happened between now and the last trip was I had a major blow out of the left front trailer tire. The tire threw a lot of debris and took out the marker lights of my friends trailer who was following me. Is it possible that the debris from the blow out may have damaged an electrical component under the trailer? Honestly, I don't even know what would be under there, just thought I'd mention the event just in case. Other than that, what could be the problem? Converter? Bad Battery? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
  • Are you sure your shore power outlet is wired correctly? Having reversed wires will cause any amount of strange behavior.
