FYI - I had a clog in my shower drain and followed the line thru the floor to find one of these Hep-vO filters in the line. Not knowing anything about it. I unscrewed both ends and ran a garden hose thru it. Blew out a piece of plastic the instaler had left behind and a ton of hair. Reinstalled and everything works fine. I think I like this thing....
