Needs to have a wall thermostat not the dial/knob on the unit.

I think yours may not have a freeze sensor so the fan running continuous will deice when the compressor cycles.

Originally I had this mod with the original thermostat.

There were a few others that did same. Timing module no longer available AFAIK.
