That would be nice if newer A/Cs came with a hard start cap. That would allow a 2000 watt Honda to not just run the A/C, but start it.

Since the A/C is the most energy hungry appliance I use, just needing a 2000 watt Honda (compared to my reliable... but heavy 3000 watt unit) and an extended run tank would definitely be nice for boondocking expeditions, where an additional 5-6 gallons would allow me to boondock for a week (assuming running the A/C in the hotter part of the day.)
