True. But, on the other hand, Dometic recommends a 3.5kw for their standard 13.5k units. A number of folks have reported running their standard units with their 2.0kw Honda/Yamaha generators. Agreed, it's probably not recommended, but nonetheless they were successful. Given the 13.5k high-efficiency units use 25-30% less current (~11 vs. ~15 amps), I think it's a reasonable to assume a much higher percentage of folks could successfully power these units with their 2.0kw Honda/Yamaha generator.
