I like your concept of not thinking of getting anywhere near to the mileage limit point stated in a tire's warranty ... but wanting long mileage warranty tires merely because they're probably more reliable and safe all the way up to the way-lower-than-max warranty mileage points at which you do actually replace them.
That's why I run 70,000 mile warranty Michelins on my Class C motorhome - so that I feel more comfortable about them all the way up through to the 40-50K mile point where I replace them no matter what.
