High pressure changeover valve

Looking for a propane automatic changeover valve w/o regulator. I have an extend-a-stay type setup on the high pressure side.
I was using a 9 gallon tank and high pressure hose w/o issue but now ill be winter camping and would like to change over to two 100lb tanks that will switch over when one tank is empty.
As you know with one tank connected at a time the tank always goes empty at the most inopportune time.
Ideas suggestion or a link welcome. Thanks.
  • Fwiw, an auto changeover *is* a first stage regulator, that's how they work. That said, you can certainly find separate auto first stage and second stage regulators.
  • With all that it would be easier to install a tee on the downstream side of the RV regulator, get an automatic changeover regulator and hoses for the 2 - 100 lb cylinders. Then run a hose from the RV to the regulator on the cylinders. You'll have to purchase most of all the same items either way you do it.
  • Why not just get some longish pigtails and connect both to the low side?
