PT I doubt it is your generator. My Honda 3000 can handle 130 amps of non-PF chargers and with 100 amps of PF it can run another 50 or 60 amps for a total of 150 or so. I don't know if the charger in the I/C you have is PF corrected--many of them are.
So the suspect would be inside the I/C and with how much other demand there is on the 120v supply besides the charger's VA required to make the 125 amps.
