Btw, I was camping this weekend, re-tested everything, and all voltages were within specs. But later on I got the " over Vdc" error on the fridge. Unfortunately I was not able to test it with a volt meter.
That's a pretty rottenc converter, and should be changed, but in the meantime, you can find the fuse the refrigerator is on and move the wire down to one of the right hand, "filtered" circuits- these are always hooked to the battery, and are regulated. The main outputs are not regulated- so if the park power is high, the DC will be high.
