My MS MPPT-60 came with battery temp sensor.
I really like the programming on the MS in that the absorbtion time can be dependent on the overnight voltage. Very short for storage and automatically longer while in use. Everything is adjustable to 0.01 volt. And much more connectivity if you desire but I don't. Others may have similar programming. But get into the program if you can to see that you like it.
I am not a network tech so I had trouble getting the MS to communicate with my netbook but eventually it worked great through a RS232-USB adapter from Fry's. I am sure it all works good but for me it was not exactly plug and play easy. Have not needed to change anything since the initial set up.
