Thats right. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. What causes the hum in the transfer switch? Been living with it for quite some time. Any ideas before I take the cover off & start poking around?

Then in a rush, check the temperature of the relay with your finger. Is it hot to the touch? - Have not forgotten the issue. Where we are at the moment is still pretty cold. Messing around with things outside is no fun when temps are in the 40s.
