A while back NAPA had a sale on their platinum filters with the synthetic media and I bought a case. It's hard to keep up with what's the latest developments; how to know if the products evaluated even a year ago or two are unchanged?
Generally I stick with brands I trust- Mobil, NAPA, Wix, Baldwin. Motorcraft for the Fords from Wally world.
