I've installed a Frantz toilet paper bypass filter on the 5.9B motor and increased the oil change from 6k miles to 18k miles and still could go more miles according to Blackstone. Of course I change the TP every 3000 miles and add a qt of oil and that helps keep the TBN up and the particulates down. The Franz filter has been on the motor for 107k mikes now with absolutely no problems.
