No one in their right mind would attempt to fully charge a battery bank by running a generator, unless they have no choice. Acceptance rate becomes about 12.5 amps per 100 amp-hours of storage at 85% state of charge. Most folks charge from 50% to 80% and call it good. Then when they have shore power the bank gets fully charged.

This is very good info, thankyou everyone. I will check the voltage of the batteries the next time i plug it into power when they are down 50% and see what the voltage goes up to. I would only want to run the gen for an hour or two so if its going to take up to 24hrs to recharge then i will definitely need to upgrade that converter.
