Honda 2000I inverter generator question
How do you prepare your generator for storage for more than 3 months?

My Honda 3000i is about 12 years old. I just leave it in the garage with sta-bil in the gas and run it every couple of months.. I leave about a half tank and when I run it, I'll run it for about 30 minutes under load.
The starter battery has been dead for the last 5 years.. It starts on the 1st or 2nd pull every time. I'll let the tank run low and then put some more fresh sta-bil gas in.
I have my house wired with a gen switch, so I'll hook it up and run it for a couple of hours at least once a year.
Don't take it camping much, since I don't boondock anymore.
Anyway, that's what's been working for me..
