Got a pair of Hondas that are over 10 years old. I do what he said. And yes, they start up on the 2nd or 3rd pull each spring!

I drain the carb and make sure there's plenty of Seafoam in the tank - 1/4 to 1/2 a can.
This has actually made it run better than when new.

Drain the carburetor! Probably drain the fuel tank as well.
