Honda 3000 generator

I, like fnshook, have been running a 15k unit (3 different ones) with my EU3000is since 2001. This covers many football tailgating weekends in Alabama, where 90 degree days are common in September.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE RUN MY 15000BTU AIR WITH A HONDA 2000!. 750 WATT MICRO WONT EVEN GO.

Runs ours just fine. I just need to remember to not try to run the microwave at the same time.

Had one for about 5 years. Works fine with 15K air, it just doesn't like to start the compressor with the microwave running.

We run ours with no difficulty. We've had our 3000 for 12 years and still runs like a champ.

I don't have a 3000, but I used to run a 13,500 with a 2000. There should be no reason a 3000 wouldn't handle a 15,000 with power to spare. I wouldn't expect to run the microwave, coffee maker and electric water heater along with the AC, but it should run the AC fine.

I currently run two 15,000 units along with just about anything else I want to at the same time with an Onan 5500 generator so even splitting that in half you should only need less than 2750 watts for a single AC unit and modest other items.
