Honda EU 2000 LP Conversion Kits?

We did a Honda conversation at work as a standby generator in a microwave room on top of a building. Management didn't want gas up there but LP was OK, so... We rarely run it but since there is nothing to gum up and it's sitting in a dry air conditioned room it can be there years before someone thinks about going up to exercise it. They are a tad voracious on LP tho

If you need propane conversion for special use, that is another story, but you have wrong perception about exercising.
I heard 2000's don't have shut off valve, but owners manage.
I have 3000 EU for 10 years and it sits for 18 months at the time.
Never had to pull the rope more than twice, so never bother to activate starting battery that come with it.
I am just religious about running carburetor dry before next storage.

Just converted mine with a kit from propanecarbs.com. It's still dual fuel, but runs great on propane. One second push of the primer (once the fuel line is purged) and it starts on the first pull. This kit had the smaller demand regulator and installs on a plate that moves it away from access panel for checking the oil.

I've done it, using the drill-the-carburetor method. I switch back and forth between propane and gasoline, and once ran it for a few hours straight on propane when the grid power was out. With one exception it runs great on propane. The exception is that I have to adjust the mixture based on the load. If adjusted for smooth idle, it won't develop full power. If adjusted for full power, it idles rough. Don't know if that's typical, or just my setup. Before drilling the carb, I fabricated a home-made snorkel. It ran exactly the same with it as it does with the tube drilled into the carb. I drilled the carb thinking the snorkel was causing the mixture problem, only to find out it wasn't. My OPINION is that if using only LP, you don't ever have to exercise it unless it's stored in a wet or high humidity location.
