Honda eu3000 overload running carrier air v for 5 minutes

When you read the write up on the eu 3000 it says it works for MOST 13.5 BTU AC's. Some draw more amps than others. Sounds like when your compressor kicks in is when your 3000 trips. The amps can jump considerably when the compressor kicks in. Your converter is drawing power to charge your batteries even if you have nothing else running. if you have a main breaker to turn off the converter, try it and see if the AC will work once the converter is turned off.
