Honda eu3000 overload running carrier air v for 5 minutes

Don't laugh. I hooked two hair dryers to the generator. One 1875, one 1625. So that puts me over 3000 watts right. So the generator ran about 10 minutes this way and never went to overload. But I'm roughly at sea level right now and only 80 degrees ambient temperature.

Is this a good way to test the generator output?
